About Flota Occidental
Flota Occidental started working in 1955 in Quinchia, Risaralda with the popular Chivas or ladder buses that mobilized passengers through the different municipalities of Risaralda and Caldas. In its beginnings, it was known as Caldasmar but by including more routes to departments such as Choco, Quindio, Antioquia, Cundinamarca, and Valle del Cauca, among other areas of the country, it changed its name definitively to Flota Occidental, a name that is still maintained and with which this bus operator is recognized in the Colombian road transportation industry.
