Yes, it is mandatory to take a printout of the ticket. You are also required to carry the ID proof that was provided at the time of booking.
A copy of the ticket would have been sent to you by e-mail. Please carry a print out of the ticket at the time of boarding the bus. If you have not received the ticket e-mail please contact our support center.
If you remember your ticket number you can generate your eTicket online. Click on the print/SMS ticket ticket link on the home page, and enter your ticket number to either take a print out or get your ticket on email. If you do not remember your ticket number, please contact our customer care for assistance.
Not at all! A passenger can use any card to pay for the ticket, not necessarily their own. However, please note that the passenger in whose name the ticket is booked should carry a proof of his/her identity (along with the ticket) at the time of boarding the bus.

Transactions on redBus will appear as REDBUS in your bank statement.
Transactions on redBus are very safe. We employ the best-in-class security and the transactions done are secure. Apart from being certified by Verisign, redBus uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL) data encryption. Using SSL ensures that the information exchanged with us is never transmitted unencrypted, thus protecting the information from being viewed by unauthorized individuals.
Cancellations and refunds are not allowed.
In most cases tickets once confirmed cannot be rescheduled. You may still email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request for a change in departure date and time of your journey ,7 days prior to the date of journey. You may request for a change with the same coach company & service. Please note that we cannot guarantee a re-schedule every time, as all changes are done at the coach company’s discretion.
redBus conforms to the refund policies of each Bus Operators. It´s important to keep in mind that each Bus Operator has different refund policies.
