About Mompox

Santa Cruz de Mompox is a colombian municipality located in the department of Bolivar, on the western side of the Magdalena River. It limits with the municipalities of Pinillos and San Fernando. In 1959 it was declared a National Monument and in 1995 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
