Plaza that marks the founding place of the city. It was the first plaza built by the pioneers, and served as a gathering point, market and water provisioning area. It has a bronze statue in honor of Simón Bolívar.

Old train station that was built between 1927 and 1930. This building served as an administrative center for the logistics of the National Railway of Colombia. Its majority has been greatly conserved, including the fine decoration of the original design. It now serves as a cultural center and as a library, and hosts some administrative offices.

Tent shaped temple in the middle of the mountain. Has a modern design that incorporates triangles but keeps the traditional design of a cross shaped plant.

Offers visitors an excellent montage of their archeological collection belonging to the pre-hispanic area of Middle Cauca. The Museum obtained the National Architectonic Award of 1986-1987, and was declared a national cultural heritage.

La Secreta Ecological Park, an important natural reserve of flora and fauna, made out of the geological fault of Armenia. It crosses the city from south to center.
Dish made of roasted pork and peas accompanied with arepas and a local natilla called ilsulso.
Tongue seasoned with beer, hogao, laurel, Lengua macerada con hogao, cerveza, laurel, thyme, salt and pepper in a pressure cooker for 45 minutes. It is afterward cut in small pieces, covered in flour and lightly fried. It is then put in a long frying pan and covered with sauce and cooked for 15 minutes. It is served with cilantro, rice or potatoes.
