About Acevedo

Acevedo is a municipality in the southeastern region of Huila in the Andean region of Colombia. It was founded on August 6, 1756 although it received the category of municipality on June 25, 1898. Acevedo has a total population of 34,554,000. One of its main attractions is the Cueva de los Guácharos National Natural Park, which stretches from the Suaza River to the Magdalena River.
