Closure of the route between Calarca and Cajamarca
We inform all our users that between January 27 and July 31, 2020, there will be a road closure on the route between Calarca - Cajamarca. The schedule in which these closures will take place will be between Monday and Thursday at night, exactly from 10:00 p.m. and reopening the next day at 5:00 a.m. It is valid to remember that on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, as well as during Holy Week, this road will remain open to help with mobility.
Since this is a very busy route, it is important to keep in mind the alternate routes that allow traveling from Bogota to the regions in the south of the country. Flota Magdalena, will make a variation in its schedules, making the journeys between 3:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. through the route Bogota - Cambao - Manizales and Bogota - Ibague - Manizales.

These are other routes to take into account to travel through the time that the road between Calarca and Cajamarca closes.
To travel from Bogota to Armenia or to La Paila, you can take an alternate route while road closures are being carried out. It consists on going out through calle 13 and taking the road to Armenia through Madrid, Facatativa, Villeta, Guaduas, Honda, Mariquita, Manizales and Pereira.
Another option to take into account for the journey from Bogota to Armenia or to La Paila after 10:00 p.m., is to go out on Calle 80 crossing La Vega, Villeta, Guaduas, Honda and Mariquita.
If the trip starts in Ibague, it is possible to reach La Paila and Armenia by a different path than the usual one, going to Mariquita and taking the road to Pereira and Manizales until you reach one of the mentioned destinations.
For the previous route, it is possible to travel it from Bogota as well, crossing Madrid, Los Alpes, Cambao and Armero until you reach Mariquita, where you take the road to Manizales and Pereira, and then reach both Armenia or La Paila.
