● La Candelaria: It is the oldest district in Bogotá. You can walk the streets past 400-year-old churches, historic buildings and colonial museums, most with free admission. You also can enjoy the Street art, which is not just graffiti, but beautiful paintings.
● The Gold Museum: Through its plants you will discover the past of ancient pre-Columbian civilizations or the famous legend of El Dorado. All this thanks to impressive pieces of gold. It has a collection of more than 30,000 pieces.
● Bolivar Squar: It is located in the heart of the city and contains a statue of Simón Bolívar, who played a key role in Latin America's successful struggle for independence. The plaza is guarded by impressive buildings that include the Palace of Justice, the National Capitol, and the Catedral Primada de Colombia.
● The Primate Cathedral of Colombia: It is the largest Cathedral in Colombia and one of the largest in South America. It was built between 1807 and 1823 and contains the remains of the founder of the city.
● El Cerro de Monserrate: It is located at 3,100 meters high. It is the main symbol of Bogotá and has been visited by thousands of people since its founding in 1640. To go up you can choose to take a cable car, a funicular and even walk, which takes between 1-2 hours. At the top of the hill there is a beautiful sanctuary, a couple of restaurants, and fabulous views of Bogotá.
